"Not totally sure about the brands"
I ordered a few items, but I’m not fully convinced they’re all genuine. At first everything looked okay, but this is where it got annoying — a couple of the products just didn’t feel like the real deal in terms of quality and packaging. I’m still unsure, but it definitely made me question the brands.

"Refund took more effort than it should have"
I had to follow up twice just to get my refund sorted. It kind of felt like it might’ve been left hanging if I hadn’t kept checking in.

"Warranty help took a while..."
I had to follow up a few times just to get a response about the warranty, which was a bit frustrating. It did get sorted in the end!! but the whole process felt slower than it should’ve been, and not super helpful along the way

I ordered a racket and a pack of shuttlecocks, the delivery showed up exactly when they said it would. I know people love to complain about shipping, but in my case there was no messing around at all. The tracking worked fine, everything arrived when expected, and I’m really happy with it...

I placed my order recently and the confirmation came through right away, so that part was totally fine. After that though, things went quiet and I ended up emailing just to see what was going on. To be fair, they did get back to me and the order did arrive, but since the slow communication is the freshest part in my mind, it kind of left the overall experience feeling just okay

I ordered from Direct Badminton and the delivery was okay, just not as quick as I was expecting. Compared to a few other sports shops I’ve used before, it took a little longer to arrive. Nothing actually went wrong and the order turned up fine in the end, I just would’ve liked it to get here sooner.

"Ended up being a really solid restringing service"
I’d been meaning to sort my racket out for ages and finally sent it off after putting it off way too long. I wasn’t expecting much either way, just hoped it wouldn’t take forever or come back feeling odd. It actually arrived back quicker than I thought, and once I had a hit with it, the tension felt just right. The strings looked tidy too, not rushed or messy. Price seemed fair, and this is the second time I’ve used directbadminton.co.uk with no issues, so I’d happily use them again.

"Great first impression and exactly as ordered"
My first impression when the racket arrived was really good, it looked and felt exactly like what I’d asked for. I ordered from Direct Badminton with a custom string setup and grip, and straight away the tension felt right and the grip size was spot on.
I’d been half expecting something to be a little off, just because custom options can sometimes be a bit hit and miss, but there were no issues at all. Really happy with how it turned out and I’d definitely order from them again.

I had to send something back, and the refund was handled faster than I thought it would be. The emails were clear, and I didn’t have to keep chasing them—well, I didn’t have to chase them at all, which was a nice change. I’d use them again.

"Great selection of badminton gear"
I was really impressed with the range on directbadminton.co. They had loads of rackets, shoes, strings, bags, basically everything I was looking for, not just the same few options you see on other sites. I found what I needed quickly, and ended up spotting a few things I’ll probably come back for later too. It’s so nice having that much badminton gear all in one place. Made the whole process easy, and I actually felt excited about shopping for my kit again.

I’ve played a few games with this racket, and overall it’s okay, but I can’t say I’m fully impressed. The build feels decent, but the strings started feeling loose way too soon. if a company is selling sports gear, they should make sure it’s properly strung before sending it out. It’s not terrible, but it doesn’t feel quite fair to the buyer either.

"Website was frustrating to use"
I kept getting lost while trying to shop on the site. Finding what I needed wasn’t very intuitive, and checkout felt way more annoying than it should have. I reached out to support and they were basically like, “try clearing your cart and starting again,” which helped a little, but it still wasn’t a great experience overall.

"Stock info really needs sorting out"
I ordered a racket and some shuttles, and one of the items was showing as in stock when I bought it. Then later I got told it actually wasn’t available, which was frustrating since I needed it for the weekend. To be fair, they refunded that item and the rest of the order arrived fine, so it wasn’t a complete disaster. But whoever runs this needs to keep the stock on the website updated better.

I had a small issue with my order, so I emailed them thinking it might turn into a hassle or I’d end up losing out. To be fair, they replied quicker than I expected and got it sorted without loads of back and forth, which was a relief. The delivery update could’ve been a bit clearer, as I don’t like being left guessing when I’ve already paid for something, but the customer service was polite and helpful. I’d use them again.

"Racket arrived fast, but packaging was a letdown"
I ordered a badminton racket from directbadminton.co.uk and it arrived sooner than I was expecting, maybe by a day or so, which was a nice surprise. The downside was the packaging. It was basically just a thin box with what felt like barely any padding, so the racket had been moving around quite a bit inside.
As far as I could tell it hadn’t actually been damaged, but for the sort of money you pay for a racket, I’d expect it to be protected a lot better. It’s made me a little unsure about ordering something fragile from them again. I’d give it around 2 stars really, since delivery was fine, but the packaging definitely needs improving.
